The phones deployed by Masiero Tech Group come configured with the ability to park calls. Call parking is similar to placing someone on hold. However, parking a call allows a person to put an active call on hold and then retrieve the same call from another telephone anywhere in the same phone system.
To park a call on your phone, you will do the following:
- Initiate a call or receive a call on your desk phone. You will see the option to Park a call either on the phones screen or on the sideboard of your phone. Press this button to park the active call.
- You will then be redirected to your main screen and the call will be placed in the first available Park space, which is Park 701 in this case.
- Others in your office will see the parked call on their phone's screen on their Park 701 button. They can pick up the call by simply pressing the Park 701 button on their phone. You can also pick up the parked call on your phone by pressing the Park 701 button.
- If there is a call already parked on Park 701, and you hit the Park button the next parked call will go to Park 702 and so on. If you would like to have someone else pick up a parked call, be sure let them know where the call is parked (on Park 701, Park 702, etc.).
