Most deployments of Masiero Hosted Voice come with the ability to set a message that callers will hear before they hear your auto attendant, or before calls reach your office. We call this a preface message. This is can be used for many different scenarios, such as:
- Letting callers know that the office will be closed or will have a change of hours on a certain holiday
- Informing callers that an office is closed due to bad weather
- Advertising an upcoming sale for a store
- Announcing a special ongoing or upcoming event to callers
These messages should be brief, but can be very helpful in keeping customers informed. To set this message, dial 4877 on one of your phones. You will be guided through prompts to record and set your preface message. (Note: If you are prompted for a password, please contact us for this information).
